We believe in upholding the fundamental right to asylum. Protecting those who flee violence, persecution, and poverty must remain a cornerstone of our values. The process should be fair, humane, and efficient, ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive the protection they need without unnecessary delays or dehumanization.

 Sanctuary cities are crucial in fostering trust and collaboration between immigrant communities and local law enforcement. They prioritize safety and compassion, ensuring that victims of crime can seek justice without fear of deportation, which enhances the well-being of the entire community.

We support policies that prioritize public safety by removing violent offenders and those who pose legitimate threats. At the same time, enforcement must be transparent and fair, avoiding undue harm to immigrant families and communities who contribute positively to society.

 Dreamers are as much a part of America as anyone else. They’ve grown up in and contributed to our communities. We support expanding DACA and creating a clear, achievable pathway to citizenship, giving these individuals the security and recognition they deserve.

 The current system is inefficient and backlogged. We advocate for modernizing immigration processes, increasing funding for courts, and reducing unnecessary barriers to ensure fair and timely outcomes for everyone navigating the system.
