Dear U.S Senators

stands firmly in defense of the Republic, a system built on the foundation of the Constitution, checks and balances, and the rule of law. Our Republic is not defined by a single leader or party—it is defined by the enduring principles that ensure liberty and justice for all. Protecting these principles requires vigilance, skepticism of unchecked power, and a commitment from all Americans, regardless of political affiliation, to defend the Constitution above all else. 

  regardless of their party or popularity, must never overshadow loyalty to the Constitution. Supporting a  strong Republic means being skeptical of any leader, who openly challenges the principles of checks and balances, attacks the free press, and undermines democratic norms. Even if you support their policies, your loyalty to the Constitution demands critical engagement to ensure that no officeholder exceeds their authority. 

 A Republic thrives when power is distributed and checked by robust institutions. The concentration of power in the hands of one individual, coupled with a culture of blind loyalty, threatens the very fabric of our Republic. Policies like weaponizing the Justice Department against political opponents or labeling dissent as “enemy from within” set dangerous precedents that jeopardize the freedoms of all Americans.

Defending the Republic is not a partisan issue; it is an American issue. Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike have a shared responsibility to ensure that our institutions remain strong and impartial. Whether it’s protecting the independence of the judiciary, ensuring free and fair elections, or safeguarding the integrity of the Justice Department, this is an all-hands-on-deck moment.

 The rule of law ensures that no one is above the Constitution. We must resist efforts to erode accountability, whether through weakened oversight, attacks on watchdog agencies, or circumventing Senate confirmations. Upholding the rule of law protects the Republic from tyranny.

The cornerstone of our Republic is the right of every citizen to vote without fear of suppression or manipulation. We must safeguard election systems from foreign and domestic threats, ensure transparency in election processes, and reject unfounded claims that undermine trust in the outcomes.

A free and independent press is vital to holding power accountable. Attacking the press as “the enemy of the people” is a dangerous rhetoric that weakens the Republic. We must reaffirm the importance of journalism in preserving transparency and informing the public.

 Defending the Republic requires more than words—it demands action from every citizen. Whether it’s voting, engaging in respectful debate, or holding leaders accountable, preserving the Republic is a collective responsibility. This moment transcends party lines; it calls for a united defense of the principles that make America a beacon of freedom and opportunity.
